Lovely International Couple Engagement Shoot.

This past weekend I met with Angela and Massimo, a couple with a very unique story! Both Angela and Massimo come from Europe - Angela from Spain and Massimo from Germany. They met as graduate students at UC Davis where they fell in love. Now both have moved away, but have returned to the city of Davis to take their engagement photos. It was awesome hanging out with them and visiting their most memorable spots around town!

We started on campus at UC Davis. As many know, UCD is a huge campus with great places for photographs just about everywhere. Angela and Massimo wanted to get a prominent UC Davis sign so that everyone would know the place that they met.Angela and Massimo were really energetic about the shoot. It was a pleasure watching them naturally pose and have fun as I snapped away.

Woodstock's Pizza is a place that a lot of UC Davis students hang out at to get a filling meal. This location was where Angela and Massimo had their first kiss. I love shooting through the windows of restaurants, so I had to at least get one shot like that. I think I captured the best moment here as they lovingly interact with each other. I really didn't give them any direction but to go inside and have a seat. Their love just seems to flow between them.

No, Massimo didn't propose to Angela at Woodstocks... but he wanted to! So we staged a little proposal right outside under the restaurant's sign. It was a really cute moment to capture as they did a little play acting for the shot. I'm not sure how the actual proposal went, but knowing these two, it couldn't have been too different!

It was a pleasure to meet both Angela and Massimo. In the end I was able to provide them with over 40 fully edited engagement photo images. Love is definitely in the air.
