Four Families, One Photoshoot.

I was contacted late last night at about 10:30pm to see if I was available to do a last minute family photoshoot in Sacramento. I was not otherwise occupied so I took the job! As it turns out, four families that live pretty far apart have come together. One of the family members wanted to commemorate the event with some photos. Great idea! The families decided to go to a local park to do the shoot.

It was a joy to do this photoshoot as the everyone in the family got along so well with each other. The kids, especially, seemed to enjoy each others company. The kids were great subjects, but photographing a large number of kids is pretty darned difficult. They all seem to want to do their own thing at different times. I don't know if I was perfectly happy with any one single shot because there was always some little distraction here or there. Still, I did the best that I could, and I hope it turned out to the family's liking.

The adults were much easier to capture! Aside from entire family shots with the kids, the adults wanted some couple shots as well, and I was more than happy to oblige. The photoshoot took about an hour in total, and of course there was a lot of time spent in post processing the photos. I'm glad to have had the opportunity to work on such short notice. With summer quickly coming to an end, I won't have as much time on my hands. I'll still be available though. Let me know if you'd like any photos done for yourself!
