FAQ

Q: How many wedding photos will I get? A: Every wedding is different, but I do tend to shoot more rather than less to try to capture every moment - from the most important first kiss down to the smallest signs of emotion from your guests. Typically over 150 fully hand-edited photos are delivered. Full-day weddings often have much more than that. It’s my job to deliver as much as possible, and that’s what I intend to do. If the amount of photos is a concern, please let me know and I will make what you need happen! RAW image files are available for inclusion for a fee of $100. Note that RAW image files are very large and are used for professional editing purposes.

Q: Can I hire you for over the 7-hr limit or for a multiple day wedding? A: Certainly! My hourly rate is $150/hr for time that exceeds the 7-hr limit. If you know your wedding will be longer than 8-hrs we can figure that into the initial wedding package fee. Please contact me for questions regarding multi-day weddings. I’d be glad to give you a custom quote for that!

Q: When can I expect my wedding photos? A: I know how hard it is to wait, so I work fast to get you your wedding photos back as soon as possible. My typical turn-around time is 2-weeks. I will keep you updated on when your photos will be done, and feel free to bug me if you feel like you want a few right away! I’d be happy to return some quick edits to you for anything that you need such as thank you cards or social media posts.

Q: My venue requires an insured vendor, are you insured? A: Yes! I am fully insured and can provide you with proof of liability insurance should your venue need it.

Q: How do I pay for your service? A: I’m happy to take cash or check in person. Checks can be made out to Luke is the Blacksheep Photography. I also accept credit card payments through Paypal, Venmo, CashApp, Apple Pay or my online invoicing service. Deposits to reserve service dates are non-refundable.

Q: Are you familiar with my culture’s style of wedding? A: I have photographed many varieties of weddings from many different cultures. I am respectful of any religious or personal preferences and would be happy to make sure that your needs are respected.

Q: What can I do with the delivered digital files? A: Anything you want! Feel free to print them yourself, add your own edits to them… really… once they are yours you can choose to do whatever you like with them. It’s in our contract!

Q: What camera do you use? A: My main camera is a Sony a9 and Sony a7riv. I use a Sony a7iii and a6400 as a second bodies as well as as professional Canon mirrorless bodies.

Q: Can I see what the contract looks like? A: Of course! below is a copy of the photography contract.
