Sacramento Kings Fan Fashion Shoots Begin. / by Luke Cheng

Yesterday was the start of a very special project. My idea was to combine my love of Kings photography with my love for model photography and produce some stunning photographs. I think I'm off to a great start. My friend Sasha, who happens to be an absolutely huge Kings fan, agreed to help me be my first model. She came with her Kings sweater, scarf, and beanie and away we went.

I decided that our shoot location would be just outside the new Golden One Center. Construction for the new Kings arena is going on constantly twenty four hours a day. It was the perfect place to get some photographs as the area was dynamic and bustling with activity. These will be the only photographs with the arena just as it was during our shoot for tomorrow it will have changed.

I love how excited Sasha was for the new arena. The Sacramento Kings play in one of the oldest and most outdated arenas in the entire league. This brand new facility will be state-of-the-art in every possible way. Kinda makes you want to jump for joy!

As we shot we walked through the old Downtown Plaza Mall. We were both surprised at how empty and different it has become. It was pretty awesome to see the huge signs around that had the phrase 'Power Forward' on them. That is certainly what our city is doing.

It was a joy to work with Sasha yesterday as it always is. There are many more photos from this session that have not been released yet, but please keep an eye out on my social media platforms for where more from this set will be released!

I'm excited to announce that there will be more of these Kings fashion shoots coming up very, very soon. If you think you have what it takes to be a true Kings fan and wear your purple colors in a stunning way... contact me through the site! I'd love to do a session with you.
